The experience

What can I expect at this event? A spectacular event awaits you at the New Year's Eve Mile in Munich with innovative high-end laser projections and video mapping, which transform the historical architecture into a magical light ambience. You will experience an impressive combination of light and laser shows as well as a varied program on four stages with live artists and DJs for all ages – a cosmopolitan and colorful New Year's Eve that combines culture and tradition with the latest technology.
Where does the experience take place? The "Munich New Year's Eve Mile 2025" will take place on December 31st on Ludwigstraße between Siegestor and Schellingstraße.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors? The Munich New Year's Eve Mile is an outdoor event; the entire program takes place outside.
How long does the event last? The event site will be open from 7:00 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. (January 1, 2026) and can be accessed via several entrances. More information about the entrances will be provided shortly.
Are food and drinks available for purchase on site? Food and drinks will be available for purchase at this event. We're pleased to announce that we'll be providing vegan and gluten-free options!
Is there parking on site? Unfortunately, there is no parking at this venue, so we recommend that you do not arrive by car.
Will there be additional sessions/dates? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that additional dates will be available. Please check the Confirmed Dates and Times page for current availability.

Where can I buy tickets?
Can I buy tickets at the venue? Remaining tickets for the New Year's Eve 2025 are expected to still be available online on the day of the event.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I have to print my ticket? No, your contactless tickets are validated directly in the Fever app.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do? You can find your ticket in the Fever app, within the "Tickets" section. If you don't have the app installed yet, you can download it from the Apple Store or from Google Play. Please remember to log in with the same account you used to purchase your tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.
Are refunds available? What is the exchange policy? Ticket returns or refunds of the ticket price are excluded.
Are press passes available? Press accreditation is available. Please send an email to [email protected]

On accessibility

Can I bring pets? Are service dogs allowed? Animals are not permitted on the event grounds. An exception applies to trained assistance dogs, provided appropriate proof is presented at the entrance to the event grounds. However, you should definitely be used to large crowds and loud noises.
Is the venue accessible? The event site is located on a public road. The event is barrier-free.
What items are prohibited at this event? Is smoking or vaping permitted on-site?

For security reasons, a bag and identity check will be conducted at the entrance. Please note which items that are permitted and prohibited are listed below. Only bags/backpacks with a maximum size of A4 may be brought to the event.

The following items are prohibited on the event site: weapons, sharp objects, pyrotechnic items such as fireworks, torches, or smoke candles, and illegal substances such as drugs or narcotics. Also prohibited are large backpacks, selfie sticks, large umbrellas (except folding umbrellas), and all umbrellas with metal tips, camping equipment, and food and drinks are also prohibited from the event grounds. Glass bottles, glass containers, PET and other reusable containers, and cans are also prohibited. Handbags with maximum dimensions of 21 × 29.7 × 15 cm (equivalent to DIN A4) are permitted. Seat cushions are permitted.

Are there tickets for caregivers? Yes, tickets with accompanying persons are available for severely disabled people and/or wheelchair users.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people? In principle, visiting the Munich New Year's Eve Mile is also possible for deaf or visually impaired people.
Will strobe lights be used during the event? Yes, the event features a display of light and lasers, which may not be suitable for those sensitive to these effects.
Are there any seating options? Can I sit down during the experience/exhibition? In the event area, there will be very little seating.
Are there restrooms at the venue? Yes, there are restrooms on the event site.
Can I take photos or videos during the experience? You are welcome to take and share photos. However, please be careful not to disturb other guests while taking photos. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Is there a Lost & Found office on site? Yes, found items will be accepted at the organizer's office on Akademiestraße.
Is there a cloakroom on site? No, there will be no cloakroom at the Munich New Year's Eve Mile.
Is there an age restriction? The Munich New Year's Eve Mile is open to everyone age 6 and older. However, children and young people between 6 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult. The Youth Protection Act also applies.
